Every year we go to the Cemetary History Pageant at the American Fork Cemetary. We really look forward to all the fun activities. Volunteers put on small plays about people who are buried in the cemetary. It is really interesting to learn more about our city predecessors and the history of where we live. They have $.25 homemade ice cream, free carriage rides, free watermelon, and lots of entertainment. This year they added craft booths, so the girls were ecstatic. For $5 they got to throw and sculpt their own pots. Sierra made a giant mug and Savannah made a pitcher. While we waited for them to dry, they bought some Native American jewelry, checked out the authentic tee-pee, and listened to the band play "Won't you come home Bill Bailey", a song Grandpa Lay always sang to me when I was little. The weather was gorgeous and as usual we had an awesome time.
